How we create these measurement: We lay the garment flat on a table.  
Chest measurement is armpit to armpit, then doubled
Length is high point shoulder to hem
Sleeve is shoulder seam to end of sleeve
We recommend you measure your own garment this way to compare to our chart. 
NOTE: due to the spandex in the fabric, it will stretch to a body measurement a couple inches larger than these measurements
